It is a tradition for ISAA to give back to the community of the host institution. This year, instead of a larger coordinated event that might take people away from their favorite breakout session or to take people away from their passion for serving, the 2017 Planning Committee will be hosting Stop and Serves.

Stop and Serve is an on-site way for ISAA attendees to give back to the community that the conference is placed!

The concept of Stop and Serve provides brief, on-campus, volunteer multifaceted opportunities for students, staff, and faculty at Indiana State University.

At each Stop and Serve location, participants have the opportunity to work on service projects focused on a variety of social issues in the community.

Participants are welcome to stop by for however long they have to give. There is no time commitment required.**

Opportunity 1.       Dog Toys – you will have the opportunity to make dog tug toys from recycled t-shirts.  These tug toys will be donated to the local humane society.

Opportunity 2.       Create a Card – you will have the opportunity to brighten someone’s day by designing all sorts of greeting cards.  These cards will be distributed to local nursing homes, veteran sites, adult day cares, etc.

** An exhausted list of Stop and Serve Projects will be posted as they are confirmed.
